Here is my little man's 6th Birthday Cake ready to take to school to share with his class buddies!
Inspiration from "Planet Cake" with my own little adaptations! Happy Birthday Tye xxx
This is my first attempt at a Wedding Cake. The whole wedding colour theme was Red, Orange and Yellow, the bride wanted the cake in those colours too. I did actually emboss all the fondant in a flourish pattern but it is a little hard to see in the photo's. The wedding took place at 10.00am on the 10/10/10! Congratulations Tamara and Brian, and thank you for the honor of making your Wedding Cake x
These are some Christmas Sugar Cookies I made for a friends Christmas Party.
Graphics from www.mygraphico.com/cupcakecuties. Printed with food ink on icing sheets, then applied onto royal icing.
I am in love with these, not only do they look adorable, they are super yummy and are quick and easy to make - what more could we ask!
Here is how to make them
First skewer all of your marshmallows, they don't really need melted chocolate to secure as they are sticky enough inside to hold them in place, try and purchase the bigger marshmallows as they look more balanced
I added some edible glitter to my fairy dust to really bring out a "sparkle" on my pops (cerise and white glitter)
Prepare your melted white chocolate. For a nice smooth and glossy consistency add a little Copha (vegetable shortening) and stir until smooth. Dip in half of the marshmallow into the mixture, swirl the stick above the bowl to get off any excess, you only want a thin coating, then dip into the fairy dust mixture. place all of your dipped marshmallows onto baking paper to dry before plating up to serve! Enjoy x

I am helping to plan a party for one of my girlfriends twin daughters with a
Pink and
Purple theme. I have been playing around in Photoshop CS lately and have uploaded some really cool brushes which are great for whipping up all sorts of party printables!!! (oh the possibilities are endless!!!!!)
Here is a little peak at some samples that I have produced for the girls approval (of course - they are 6 you know!!!)
I think I will back the Personalised Paper Crowns in cardboard to make a little stronger, I am really loving these!!! Can just see them wearing them waving their fairy wands around and being real little girls
This is going to be fun, where to stop is going to be my problem here!

Pumpkin Treat Bags
Halloween is steadily getting to be a bigger trend in Australia, and who could resist throwing a Halloween bash! I am so excited and am having a ball planning all kinds of
spooky and fun games and treats for the kids. There are so many inspirational ideas on the net, my favourites are Martha Stewart, How Does She, and the frogprincepaperie. Here are my invites that hopefully will be going out this weekend with a couple of final touches!
As per last post here are my
personalised Pistachio Macaroons with Salted Caramel Filling, made for my beautiful girlfriends 40th. To personalise them into a gift, I made them into
fortune cookies by printing up 40 positive quotes onto vellum paper and wrapping them around the macaroon, securing with food glue at the back. I was going to make a combo of different macaroons, but live in a small town - no pecan nuts to be found anywhere!!!! OMG the salted caramel is to die for, receipe can be found on
www.mytartelette.com. Following are pictures of my packaging and hand made card.

Today is cooking day, my favourite kind of day!!! and my inspiration in the kitchen is to make a special gift for a gorgeous girlfriend who turns 40 on the weekend. I found this awesome website that has given me my inspiration to make
Pecan Pie Macaroons and
Creme Brulee Pistachio Macaroons!!! Oh my mouth is watering just at the thought of them! So a huge thanks to
www.mytartelette.com for the inspiration! I am going to add my own touch in the packaging just to make them personal in my own way...................... Hopefully have one glamorous photo for you tonight!!!!!!!!!!! xxxx
What can I say!!! Me speechless - Hardly! What a fantastic party. Watching the vivacious Ali create
Hollywood at the Country Club for her beautiful husbands 30th Birthday, the effort she put in was amazing to say the least. I was honoured to be able to make his cake, and to be invited to walk the red carpet and socialise with the rich and famous including Scooby Doo, Bat Woman (Oh how I loved those boots! mental note - will have to work a little bit harder to be donning a pair of those anytime soon!), Buzz Lightyear, Shaggy and the crew, Cat in the Hat, Reece Witherspoon in her ohhh so Pink Outfit! and so many other stylish characters. Take a sneak peak at some of the Paparazzi shots!
(bids above $100K for any pics that WHO magazine or Famous want to publish will be more than welcome by the spotter!!!!) go DEPTH PHOTOGRAPHY.......................................................................................................................................

Well there is nothing like a challenge, and I wanted to challenge myself and give my beautiful little "Jenna Grace" the Princess/Fairy Castle that a special little 5 year old deserves! She was so excited to finally turn five, so I thought it only fitting for a little princess to have her castle on her birthday. My beautiful girlfriend Terri took some photos with her SLRCamera and special lenses, how lucky am I to have such good friends x
