The Cupcake Economy

Today I made the fondant elements for my Daughters 16th Birthday Cake- An IPod Cake! Cant wait to put it together for her on Sunday.  It even has earphones, but u will have to wait to see them - they are so cool!!! Here is a sneak peak while they are waiting to dry........

My georgous friend Terri Kirman graciously took all of these last posts pics, and my beautiful sister Karen (from Chasing Comets Graphics) edited the pics.  I maybe able to put fondant together, but have a way to go in taking and editing photo's.  I couldn't have done this without them, and their love and support in helping me get this off the ground has been a godsend!
To give them both a plug (as we do for the ones we love) Terri is just starting out in her own little business taking Family Portraits, I am so looking forward to our booking for our family photos' at the "Old Butter Factory", I will post some pic's after the shoot! Anybody wanting her details please contact me, she is absolutely fabulous, dedicated, and would love to take your family shots.
Karen from "Chasing Comets" (aka my beautiful sister) does amazing graphic design work, develops web sites, and create just about any artwork in any form - she is so talented, and again, if you are wanting someone to create something fabulous for your business or the like, just ask me and I would love to pass on her details.

These are some of my animal themed cupcake toppers that I make to order,

I made these Puppy Dog Cupcake Toppers for Miss Alexsis who is turning 3! They are made with a combination of fondant, chocolate buttons & M&M's for the small nose. Will post photos of the cakes after her party at daycare with all of her georgous little friends. I did pipe little upside down "t" shape for the mouth of the dog, but took photo before that. Now to work on my next project Ladybird cupcake toppers for Jamie's Birthday, and am waiting with so much anticipation for my Circuit Cake to arrive from the USA, cant wait to play...
